Photo of the Herradura

It was during the month of July 2010 that I won a trip to Coquimbo. Well, it was a study tour. I was selected by my notes at that time. I traveled with other classmates from my school. It was a long trip from Santiago to Coquimbo; approximately 6 hours more or less. Nevertheless, the place to which we come was very cozy. It was an area with many huts, where only my colleagues and the people of the administration were there.

We had a beautiful view of the sea. Further away we could appreciate to the Coquimbo region in its splendor. Highlights the great cross in the distance, the "Cross of the Third Millennium", which has a religious museum inside and works as a lookout at the same time. We had access to it during our stay. It had very privileged views in the height. I could see the huts where I was staying. It is what I remember most of that trip without a doubt...
It was very relaxing to be in those huts. The sea breeze stroking my face, as I watched the sunset there was spectacular.
